تاریخی «خلیج فارس» در قدیمی ترین و نخستین نقشه رنگی و برجسته نمای ایران
که در مرکز اسناد ملی شمال غرب کشور در تبریز نگهداری می شود، ثبت شده است.
واحد مرکزی خبر، رئیس سازمان اسناد و مدارک شمال غرب کشور گفت: این نقشه
مربوط به سال 1316 هجری قمری مطابق با 1277 هجری شمسی است و در زیر آن دو
عنوان «خلیج فارس» یا «دریای بندر بوشهر» خودنمایی می کند.
سید محمد مسعود نقیب بابیان این که این سند تاریخی بار دیگر عنوان تاریخی «خلیج همیشه فارس» تایید می شود، گفت: این نقشه در مقیاس و دقت ده میلیونیوم و به شکل مربع در ابعاد 1.38 در 1.38 است و به تایید وزارت علوم وقت رسیده است.
رییس سازمان اسناد و مدارک شمال غرب کشور گفت: در حاشیه و پایین این نقشه در قالب راهنمای ضمیمه، پایتخت، شهرهای اصلی، دهات، قلعه ها، کاروانسراها، رودها، دره ها، دماغه ها، راههای اصلی، راه آهن، کویر، ریگستان، باتلاق، خطوط ملاحی (کشتیرانی) و گردنه ها مشخص شده است.
نقیب افزود: براساس اسناد موجود تاریخی این نقشه را «عبدالرزاق سرتیپ» از شاگردان ممتاز دارالفنون و نجم الدوله مشهور ترسیم کرده است.
